TOCCATATOUCH

ToccataTouch is the name of the newest free iPad app developed by Fabrica, the communication research centre of the Benetton Group.

ToccataTouch is based on the illusion of playing with the forces of a physical environment. A digital textile reacts to touch, changing its form and giving the perception of modifying the user’s equilibrium. An arpeggio of synthesized tones and noises is generated to give supporting feedback to the user interaction and to make the user experience more immersive.
