RIPPLEVID

RippleVid is the name of the first iPad app developed by Fabrica, the communication research centre of the Benetton Group.

 

RippleVid fragments time into a sequence of frozen moments, like a strip of cinematic celluloid which appears to move across the screen. The user is encouraged to move in order to animate the sequence. The app is inspired by the interactive installation We are the time. We are the famous (2006) by Andy Cameron, David McDougall, Oriol Ferrer Mesià, Hans Raber.
