A tableware collection created for Paola C., an Italian brand manufacturing and selling objects tied to the art of the table. Everyday household objects, they embody Fabrica’s spirit of research into alternative solutions that are fully compliant with the primary objective of serviceability. The materials used – glass, silver, ceramics and steel – are all hand-crafted.

The collection includes:

A dessert plate whose decorations have been transformed into practical portion dividers.

A glass oil dispenser with measuring dropper.

A ceramic vase with a removable rubber neck so that the water can be changed without disturbing the composition.

A drop-shaped water jug.

An elegant salt and pepper “chop-stick”

A boldly provocative Red Cross-shaped trivet.

A polished steel candleholder.

Paola C. each year invites young designers from the worlds most important schools to design new objects using different materials. Young designers from around the world have answered the call: from Londons Royal College to Tongji University in Shanghai and Fabrica.
