For World TB Day 2008, Stop TB Partnership released a global campaign with soccer champion Luis Figo as testimonial to raise awareness on tuberculosis amongst the general public, opinion leaders and business leaders, policymakers and the scientific community.
The campaign consists of 5 posters delivering key messages on general awareness, treatment, prevention, partnership and support.
The campaign is translated in 9 languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkmen) for worldwide distribution through the Stop TB Partnership network.
