FABRICA with its international designers has been invited by the Carwan Gallery and ALBA (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Artsin Beirut to create a series of new, limited-edition objects in partnership with local artisans in the Middle East. With a concept that seeks to expand the vocabulary of traditional crafts, this collaboration is part of Carwan’s project ''Contemporary Perspectives in Middle Eastern Craft'' exploring new avenues in design. Each designer's work encapsulates the re-imagining of a distinct, time-honored craft, where the specialized technique of the artisan has formed the basis for the designer’s creations. For the occasion, a workshop with ALBA will launch the project.

In partnership with:
Carwan Gallery, ALBA (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts)

Beiteddine (the city of religion) and its palace built in the 18th century for the Emir and his family who lived there until 1840.
