A documentary about the bull fighting school in Casa de Campo of Madrid, where young bullfighters have practical and theory classes. The bulls that go to the most famous bullfighting ring in the world to die in the evening, La Maestranza de Madrid, pass through this school for preparation. These types of schools are struggling to survive in Spain.
"El Deseo de Matar" belongs to the "Unique Trades" collection, a set of short documentaries depicting obsessions and trades on the fringe of existence. These intimate portraits capture committed individuals, striving undeterred in their obsolete worlds.
