COUNTERPOINTS

The original concept for the project was to produce music in a live environment using turntables with effects and cello. The project was intended to be a simultaneous conflict and merging of instruments, as the musical backgrounds of the participants were particularly different. Four turntables were used to layer the sound sources and further manipulations were made with live guitar effects pedals and amplified acoustic cello with sparse effects.
